Liposuction is a body-contouring procedure in which unwanted fat is surgically removed from the body. It results in bringing proportion back to the body by permanently getting rid of stubborn fat. It is performed by suctioning out fat though tubes on localized, bothersome areas. Liposuction is not a replacement for weight loss or obesity. It should be considered a treatment method for excess fat on localized areas of the body that with proper diet and exercise will not go away.
Selfie Plastic Surgery utilizes the latest advancements that allows for smooth results, quicker recovery with an added benefit of tightening the skin.
What Liposuction Can Do for You
Targeted weight loss: While diet and exercise may help you lose weight in general there are times when you lose weight in every area of the body except where you really want to. Liposuction helps to contour your body the way you prefer it to be. You can remove fat from one area and with some techniques (such as laser –assisted Lipo) the fat removed can even be cleaned and re-inserted into the body in the desired areas (Fat Transfer).
Fat-cells permanently removed: Losing weight the traditional way simply shrinks existing fat cells. Since they are still there, they can easily be enlarged again. Liposuction removes the fat cells completely making it increasingly difficult for fat to be re-gained in the areas treated.
Increased health: As excess weight can cause a multitude of health risks, liposuction reduces these risks.

Does fat return after liposuction?
If you exercise and maintain a healthy diet, the results of your liposuction procedure will last as long as age and other such factors don’t take their toll. However, if you gain fat following the liposuction procedure, you should expect your whole body to experience this weight gain including the treated area. Fortunately, only the few fat cells remaining in the area will be affected, reducing its overall capacity. Therefore, you will never be able to accumulate as much fat as before treatment.
Can I treat more than one area in one session?
